School Clubs

KS1 Gardening Club | KS2 Gardening Club | Saturday Morning Football Club

A range of extra-curricular activities is on offer to the children each term. Details of the clubs are included below. Clubs will end in the week beginning 10 March unless otherwise stated. Some clubs are free, however, a small charge is made for some clubs to cover the costs of tuition / coaching.

If your child joined a club last term, we assume that he / she will wish to continue. If this is not the case, please let the club leader know. If your child would like to join a club, please complete the permission slip at the end of this letter and a member of staff will check with the club leader to see whether there are spaces available.

Please note that, once they have been accepted in a club, children MUST inform the adult in charge if they are unable to attend for whatever reason. Children's safety is our priority and we need to be sure that, if they are not participating in club activities, they are safely in the care of an adult elsewhere.

Parents are asked to make sure that children are collected promptly at the end of each session. In the case of older pupils (years 5+), please let the school know if you wish your child to walk home unaccompanied by signing the attached reply slip.

The Orchestra is open to all pupils who are able to read music (at a basic level) and have mastered basic playing techniques on their chosen orchestral instrument. Children who learn music in school, and who meet the above criteria, have been invited to join. However, if your child is learning to play an instrument at home and he / she would like to join the orchestra, please contact Mrs Watkins. There is no charge for orchestra and we hope to establish a lively music group!
